You, the race participant, individually and on behalf of your heirs and assignees do hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue The Dept. of Greater LA/Veterans Affairs Healthcare system, The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, W2 Promotions, MTZ Productions, and any of these previously mentioned companies' officers, employees and agents("Race Hosts") from liability and any and all claims including the negligence of the Race Hosts, resulting in personal injury, accidents or illnesses (including death)and property loss arising from, but not limited to, participation in this activity. I hereby release to the race promoter full and exclusive rights to record my performance in said race on film, videotape or still photography for use without compensation.
